“David (Dave) is the original “Founding Father” of ILA from its beginning back in 2014.
Formerly a Senior Clerk at 3 Paper Buildings and Head Clerk of its Public and Regulatory Law team, Dave has unparalleled involvement with Legal Assessors, Regulators and Regulatory Law barristers. He has over 35 years’ of clerking experience, having begun his career as a Bar Clerk in 1991. He is extremely well known to Professional Regulation Bodies and their support staff, and recognised for his dedication, knowledge and approachable style.

Vinnie
Joined ILA in June 2017 and was formerly a clerk at 5 Paper Buildings from 1982 to 2015. Vinnie began his clerking career at Lamb Building in 1975. His interests away from the office include football (both playing and coaching), all genres of music and enjoying life! His sense of humour and sharp wit keeps us all entertained 😊.

Jack
Our newest member of the team having joined us at the start of 2026. Jack is formally of Thomas More Chambers with 9 years’ experience having started with them in 2017 as a Junior Clerk and then rising to First Junior.
Away from the world of work Jack plays American Football for Essex Tridents, follows the Minnesota Vikings in the same sport and “trys” to play golf 😉.
